is a Paris-born makeup artist based in New York.
She studied art throughout her life and taught herself makeup.
In 2016, she launched her YouTube channel. That marked the beginning of my collaboration with Violette and her director and longtime friend,
Fabien Ducommun.
Together, we developed a new visual language for beauty tutorials, bringing the spontaneity of YouTube closer to the cinematic style of the French Nouvelle Vague exported to the US.

Over champagne and makeup, the makeup artist introduces her debut Estée Lauder by Violette collection to French actresses Nailia Harzoune and Eye Haidara.
The talented Violette made her first perfume Baisers de Jasmin in collaboration with @infiorebeauty and @julie___elliott
Before launching Violette_FR in 2021, Violette developed her work through editorial projects, her YouTube channel and collaborations with beauty houses.
In 2017, she became Estée Lauder’s Global Beauty Director, working across product development, digital content and beauty education. She also created Baisers de Jasmin, an aromatic collaboration with In Fiore.
A few months after launching her own brand, she joined Guerlain as Creative Director of Makeup.
Throughout these different chapters, I edited the films created with Violette and director Fabien Ducommun, following her journey from tutorials and collaborations to the creation of her own beauty brand.
